Description

The version of FFMpeg which is currently on the server doesn't deal with FLAAC audio or some kinda Apple codec or something, will need to recompile it from source with the proper flags set.

This is quite hellish on Debian Etch. It works great on Ubuntu, which uses an ancient version of libfaac-dev, but Debian (for once) has newer packages than Ubuntu, and despite many hours of trying, I can't seem to get the binary to recompile in a way that will decode AAC audio.

I'll move this one back into wish list as I don't think it's going to be possible to get it done within the (self-imposed) release timeframes.
