Description

When writing an article using the WYSIWYG editor, making a hyperlink to another article on the same server by pasting the URL into the link field fails. If I try to paste "http://northern-indymedia.org/articles/123" this gets truncated to "../123" instead of "../articles/123". If I paste "../articles/123" that works fine.

This has been found on the indymedia.dk site too, see https://lists.aktivix.org/mailman/private/escapegoat/2009-December/000167.html

Pasting links to the same site seems to work when I do it using my local copy of hyperactive. I don't seem to have access to the email linked above.

Can you describe exactly what actions we can take to see this bug happen? And do you know if it exists using the latest hyperactive from git (Mine has a latest commit on 18 December by Mish)

I've tried to test this by creating the article at http://hyperactive.escapegoat.org/articles/128

The site seems to work fine, having detected the URL and turned it into a link.

Thanks Barney.

The problem arose when using the 'insert/edit link' dialogue of the editor, not when pasting a URL straight into the text field. However, I've just tried to reproduce the bug at https://northern-indymedia.org/articles/404 and it no longer occurs. I expect someone has fixed it without referring to this bug, so I think we should now consider this bug resolved.

Ok, in that case I'll be bold and close the ticket.
