on the group pages, the abstract of the latest article shows in the middle column. if a group has a few events and articles, the right sidebar tends to get very long, while the main column only contains the group blurb and one article. If it would show the last 5-10 articles the whole page would look more balanced and get more of a blog look. ideally there could be a link at the end saying "older articles" or similar, so people can browse through the groups articles easily.

if one would want to take this further, it might make sense to have instead of the article newswire, a navigation list with articles sorted by year and month, kinda wordpress style. right now this does not seem like a big deal, but if the groups function is used continuously, it will soon become hard to navigate.
