Description
Why? Maybe its because of the way I work.
I put the public site in one tab and log in. Then I use various functions: I change the list of categories, I check the accumulation of tags on the public page, I publish new entries, I check the calendar and edit entries etc. For this way of working, it would be handy to have one site that gives me one-click-away links to all the functins I am using, including publish.

The two layouts are really the same...it might be best to just merge the two by showing the admin links underneath the main ones (or in a sidebar or something, just a question of layout) if the user's an admin.

Ok, as an experiment I've just stuck an extra bit of navigation in below the main navigation and done away with the "admin" view entirely. What do you think of this? It certainly makes all the admin stuff accessible easily, it could probably be designed better to use less space.
What you think?

There seems to have been no major problems on this so I'll mark this as closed.
