I thought that the iCal feature of the new calendar would allow people
to publish events from their own calendars onto indymedia as well as
take events from indymedia and put them in their calendar but now that
I've looked that doesn't seem to be the case.

I think this would be a very useful feature as it saves a lot of cut
and paste work (which can easily result in un-noticed errors).

At it's simplest there would just be an 'import details from iCal'
button that either browsed for a locally stored iCal file or was given
a URL for an online iCal entry.

It would be great to also have a more advance (perhaps admin only
option) which allowed the indymedia calender to be sync'ed/subscribed
to an external calendar such as a calendar on a campaign website of
social centre website.
